Roger C. Peace Rehabilitation Hospital, part of PRISMA Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to become part of our established Outpatient Brain Injury and Young Stroke Program. The Brain Injury and Young Stroke Program is a unique interdisciplinary program located in the heart of one of the nation’s most up and coming small cities. Occupational Therapists provide evaluation and treatment for rehabilitation patients (TBI, CVA, etc.) involved in a unique interdisciplinary outpatient program in one of the South’s most established and creative clinical venues addressing independence in the home, community, school, and vocational programming.

Primary duties include: Evaluation and treatment of factors affecting activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), health and wellness, education, work, leisure pursuits, and social participation for persons with Brain Injury and Stroke; Participation in interdisciplinary programming; Team-employer liaison for work re-entry.
Requirements for the position include:
Occupational Therapy License from the South Carolina Board of Examiners or South Carolina Licensure eligible
Applicant with emphasis in visual cognition is preferred (experience in neurological rehabilitation desired)
Willingness to be part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
Openness to giving and receiving feedback and personal growth
